England squad announced for March 2024 internationals

Gareth Southgate selects 33-man provisional squad for Euro 2024

Gareth Southgate has announced his 33-man provisional squad for England's upcoming Euro 2024 qualifiers against Italy and Ukraine.

There are a number of new faces in the squad, including Crystal Palace pair Eberechi Eze and Adam Wharton. Jarrad Branthwaite and Anthony Gordon have also been included after impressing for Everton and Newcastle respectively.

Southgate has also recalled a number of experienced players, including Harry Kane, Raheem Sterling and Jordan Henderson.

England will be hoping to build on their impressive performance at the 2022 World Cup, where they reached the semi-finals.

They will face Italy in Rome on March 23rd and Ukraine in London on March 26th.
