Lions Gate Bridge Closed for Three Nights of Upgrades
Partial Closures to Begin at 10 p.m. on May 15 and 16
Lasting Until 8 a.m.
The Lions Gate Bridge, which connects the North Shore and Vancouver, will be closed to vehicle traffic in both directions for three nights beginning Sunday, May 1 from 8 p.m. to 5 a.m. The closures are necessary to allow for bridge upgrades.

The partial closures will begin at 10 p.m. on May 15 and 16 and will last until 8 a.m. on May 16 and 17, respectively. During the closures, all lanes of the bridge will be closed to vehicle traffic.
Pedestrians and cyclists will be able to use the bridge during the closures, but they are advised to use caution as there will be increased construction activity.
The bridge will be fully reopened to traffic at 5 a.m. on May 17.
Drivers are advised to plan alternate routes during the closures.
